Katia Vieira is a multidisciplinary artist with a strong foundation in ceramics and sculpture. Her passion for three-dimensional art led her to discover the world of special effects makeup, which ultimately inspired her to pursue formal training at Make-up Designory in Manhattan, New York. There, she completed the Master Artistry Program, gaining expertise in both special effects and beauty/fashion makeup, including the creation of custom prosthetic pieces.

Following her graduation, Katia worked on a range of film and television projects in New York City while also freelancing for several cosmetic companies. Today, she primarily focuses her freelance work in the bridal industry, bringing a refined, elevated approach to wedding makeup across New England.

In addition to her work as a makeup artist, Katia is a dedicated middle school art teacher, sharing her love of the arts with the next generation. Her unique blend of technical skill, creativity, and passion allows her to seamlessly bridge the worlds of beauty, education, and fine art. She continues to grow in both fields, always striving to inspire others through her artistry.
